Special Satsang on May 17th, 2026 - A Report
The Ramakrishna Ashrama in Warren, Michigan organized a special Satsang evening on Sunday, May 17, 2026, featuring Rev. Swami Ishatmananda, President of the Vedanta Society of Chicago, Illinois, and Rev. Swami Purnabodhananda of Ramakrishna Ashram, Argentina. Local devotees gathered at the Ashram for the blessed opportunity to listen to the inspiring discourses of the revered Swamis. Swami Ishatmananda delivered the welcome address and introduced the young Swami from Argentina to the devotees. Swami Purnabodhananda mesmerized the audience with his uplifting talk and soulful chanting of “Om Ramakrishna Om.” The devotees enthusiastically and spontaneously joined in the chanting, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion, joy, and spiritual fervor. In his concluding remarks, Swami Ishatmananda emphasized the importance of praying to God for the removal of ego and for spiritual growth. The evening concluded with the distribution of Bhog Prasad to all the devotees.
