The local devotees of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa in the Detroit area were thrilled to have the holy company of Rev. Swami Ishatmananda, President of Vedanta Society of Chicago, on Sunday, June 18th, 2023. Eleven blessed souls were initiated into the Ramakrishna Order by Swami Ishatmanandaji on that day. After the initiation ceremony, a puja of the Holy Trio was performed followed by devotional songs by devotees.



At 12 noon, Swami Ishatmananda delivered a special Sunday talk, "Lord Jagannath: The Father of the Universe.", to commemorate Ratha Yatra and Father's Day. About 50 people were in attendence. All were treated to a delicious lunch of Bhog Prasad.
